Masthead — six treatments of the same two words
The problem isn't the typeface exactly — it's that Bodoni's optical-size axis is being driven to its maximum at this size, which is the setting meant for large print. On screen the hairlines thin out until the A's left stroke nearly disappears. Options 2 and 3 are the same typeface with that axis pinned lower. Compare the letter A in each.

My recommendation is 02. It keeps the exact typeface she reacted well to and fixes the actual fault — nothing about the design changes except that the thin strokes stop vanishing. 05 and 06 are here in case you want to move off Bodoni entirely, but changing the face changes the concept's whole voice, and she hasn't asked for that.
